Writers plan to write. We seldom—if ever— plan to notwrite. Notwriting just happens. Way too easily. (I’m right, aren’t I?)
So, for the last few months, I’ve notwritten more than I’ve written. I’ve done critiques of others’ work, worked on a couple new long stories (but no, not even remotely finished them), and written some encouraging postcards. I have also taken care of my personal and family life. But I’ve (obviously) notwritten as many substack posts as I possibly could. I’m almost proud of how many I’ve notwritten; it’s got to be a record.
But, now I’m back. And as soon as I recall what my next post was going to be, I’ll be back on your screen in no time.
