If I’ve left anything unclear, let me fix that now.
I’ve voted.
It’s what we do in America.
I want to see that continue. I want to see choice. I want ALL our voices listened to.
I want us to be in charge of own lives. Including whether or not we choose to put God at the head of our lives.
Because all of that is at stake.
One candidate will take that all away. He tried to before. He’s now using that previous stage to try and progress to the next level. If you think he has any plans to let you run your own life, to determine your own beliefs—let alone act on them—then he has deluded you badly.
Our other candidate may not make the exact decisions you would, but she will protect the freedom you have to make any decisions at all.
We are a vast and varied country. We are stronger that way. And that means we believe in different things. But as a country, we believe in the right to make our own choices. And so, whether you are liberal or conservative; atheist, agnostic, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Wiccan, or otherwise; female, male, or totally unsure; brilliant or compassionate or neither or both—there really isn’t a choice. There is only one candidate to vote for.
Setting aside all the thousands of other reasons why the former 45th president is not capable of governing this country, there is this one vital reason: In order for this country to continue to be the America it has always aimed to be, VOTING is key. And in order to keep the vote, VOTING NOW IS KEY, and it is the only way we will continue.
